New short hair cut!?!?

I am thinking about donating to locks of love. But I have NEVER cut my hair that short, and i am getting kind of scared. I have always had my hair long, and I don't know what hairstyles i could do with it shorter. It would be about chin length, maybe longer. If you have any suggestions PLEASE help!! Pictures would be great.

OH and by the way i have blond hair, that is kind of thick, but not amazingly so. It can go wavy, but if i blow dry my hair it goes pretty much strait.New short hair cut!?!?

That's VERY sweet of you to consider doing something so brave! I commend you! Try the Kelly Pickler ';bob'; or any other bobs you see. It's a HOT hairstyle right now, perfect for summer and you'll be able to give to someone in need at the same time.





Just Google ';bob'; hairstyles and you should find tons! Oh, and since your hair is thick, that's a bigger plus because bobs look much better when you have thick hair. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice on thin hair too, but a bob with thick hair really volumizes your look and it's very chic!

hey!! i've had this problem before, too. my hair was WAYY past my shoulders and I needed it cut!! it went to my shoulders after it got cut. i suggest you get layers (which is VERY in rite now and cute too!) or you can always cut it EVEN SHORTER and get a pixie cut! (it's very very cute and awesome looking too....you can spike it up in the back too with some gel, and still have bangs and straightness in the front!) you can also keep it no style, but add over the forehead bangs....they are SUPER awesome, and very very fashionable. Locks of love would be a really great thing to do. Talk with your hair stylist they will give you a hair cut to suit you face. Remember if you don't like your hair cut Its only hair you will grow it back.
you're doing it for a good cause go for it!! it depends on the shape of yourface and what would be good for you, talk to a professional and ask them what would match your face. we woudlnt know how you would look good without a picture.

don't worry, i had my hair cut short for the first time a few weeks ago, and i'd always had it at least past my shoulders since i could remember.


it's so much more manageable once you get it cut, and is dead easy to maintain.


also, messy bobs are really, really in this summer, and look totally chic.

although most stylists are great, be wary, and try not to let yourself be persuaded into anything you don't like the sound/look of.
